Difference between Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody

1. Everybody/ Everyone (हर कोई, सभी लोग): Refers to all people in a group.
Example: Everybody loves a sunny day. (हर कोई धूप वाले दिन को पसंद करता है।)
2. Somebody/ Someone (कोई, कोई व्यक्ति) - Refers to one specific but unidentified person. Generally used in positive sentences.
Example: Somebody left their umbrella here. (किसी ने यहाँ अपनी छतरी छोड़ी है।)
3. Anybody/ Anyone (कोई भी, कोई व्यक्ति) - Refers to any person, regardless of who it is, or used in questions and negative sentences.
Example (Negative/Question): I don't know anybody here. (मैं यहाँ किसी को नहीं जानता।) / Is anybody home? (क्या घर पर कोई है?)
Example (General): Anybody can do this. (इसे कोई भी कर सकता है।)
4. Nobody/ No one (कोई नहीं): Refers to zero people in a group. Used for negative statements.
Example: Nobody was at the door. (दरवाजे पर कोई नहीं था।)
